PAMELA PORTNOY
HOST
Born and raised in Southern California, Pamela began acting at the age of seven. She is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies. Pamela also attended the Midsummer in Oxford Program through the British American Drama Academy, and the Stanislavsky Summer School through the partnership between the Moscow Art Theatre School and Harvard University.
In 2014 she produced and acted in the web series Pretty, Dumb, which was an Official Selection at the Atlanta Web Festival, Hollyweb Festival in Los Angeles, and the Austin Web Festival. In January of 2020 she launched the podcast No One’s Okay alongside co-host Alexa Marie Anderson. The show is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Play.
Trained in classical theater, Pamela has performed in numerous stage productions and has been featured in various commercials, web series, and independent films. Her credits include performances in the Repertory East Playhouse’s production of Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, Polymath Theatre Company's Rum and Cookies, Investigation Discovery’s, Married With Secrets, Film Independent’s Alice, and TTBM Productions’ Breaking Up and Away.
